Charity means love, and more specifically, to give love. At Funky Angel we believe in giving love, and are currently supporing the Smilies in their Run for Life in memory of their father, Stan.
And we are also committed to raising enough money to sponsor a Guide Dog puppy from birth, through puppy walking, right up until his or her final assessment to become a fully-fledged Guide Dog for the Blind.
We are doing this as a close friend of the family has been steadily losing her sight since the birth of her youngest, Molly, who is now seven. You may have seen Molly's artwork in the Art Gallery, as well as that of her brother, Dylan.
Their mum, Jax, is now blind in her right eye - Dylan and Molly have learnt not to stand on her righthand side without telling her or else they get sent flying! Although Jax is not at the stage of needing a Guide Dog, and fingers crossed won't ever be, we want to help make a difference and we hope you will help us!
