Belief in something bigger than your own self is an essentially human characteristic, and can be a force for both good and evil. Here we want to celebrate it as a force for good, and so will be gathering together thoughts and wisdom from a cross section of all faiths and beliefs, as well as looking at the stories and the culturals myths and legends that have resulted.
Because whether you are a traditional Christian or a Wiccan, a Muslim or a Buddhist, having faith encourages us to behave in a less selfish and more generous manner to the rest of humankind, as well as the rest of the world.
And studies have also found that as individuals who have, and practice faith, we are happier and healthier and live longer lives.
So let's celebrate that!
