[font=Comic Sans MS][size=3][/size][/font]:D I have just joined and so thought I would say hello and introduce myself. I am mum to 4 children ages 6, 5,5 and 4. My youngest has autism and attends a special school which is fantastic! My interest at the moment is fundraising for my 2 favourite charities: the local Cats Protection and my son's school. To that end I am in the process of setting up my website to sell all sorts of things. I intend to donate 50% each to those causes.I am also a parent representative for a local group which helps to support parents/carers of children who have special needs. We just offer support through a cup of coffee, cake and a chat! We get speakers in from time to time who provide excellent advice about benefits etc too.On top of this, I am currently researching plans to establish my own business within the special needs sector for children. I don't want to say too much at the moment because to be honest, I need to straighten my ideas out on paper. Hopefully I will be able to get more help from business link who have given me information already. It is quite exciting and frightening at the same time!Jayne

Hi there, my name is Claire and I'm the director of Funky Angel - which sounds very posh, but actually means I just get to do nearly everything!

I write books and articles, edit and publish magazines, and I mentor and coach people who are working, or want to work, from home, or want to start or grow their own home-based business. It's all fun if very busy sometimes, and I love it!

I have two children, Cecily, age 12 and Felice, age 10, plus a menagerie of pets, and I'm a divorced single mum :)
